RHI Magnesita’s Dalian MGG plant in China is leading the way in our #digitaltransformation journey! It has become the first plant in our global network to have a fully functional Manufacturing Execution System (#MES) and Planned Production/Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) system across all areas. The MES is a powerful tool that tracks and controls the entire manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products, providing crucial data to improve efficiency and productivity. Together with PP/DS, it connects shopfloor operations with #RHIMagnesita’s Enterprise Resource Planning system, ensuring accurate and efficient operations management. In short – it's a game-changer for manufacturing. Of the successful implementation, Rajah J., RHI Magnesita’s Chief Technology Officer, said “This project, which kicked off in August 2021, represents a significant step forward for RHI Magnesita’s plant optimization efforts and will contribute significantly towards making the company and its operations fit for the future.
