LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO WORK JUST ANYWHERE

About us

Our employees are like our motorcycles: drive is what counts, not the model year, the mileage or the preferred terrain. We are looking for employees who are willing to work together, think together and live out our philosophy together. With or without career experience. With or without a university degree. With one or two X chromosomes. Because no matter who you are, what ultimately matters is what you are capable of!

THE MOTOGP™ ENABLER - HOW TO BECOME A GRAND PRIX CREW CHIEF If Binder, or any MotoGP™ rider is the leader, then the Crew Chief is the ultimate second in command. The one taking the meetings, making technical decisions, sustaining group harmony, and sanding the platform for the athlete to turn up and excel. The rider/crew chief chemistry is one of the small magic elixirs of MotoGP. Two ingredients and two highly specialized individuals in a high stakes sport. “When I arrived in the MotoGP box, I realized the rest of the guys were a few steps in front of me. I would ask them if they’d sorted something: ‘done’. Then if they had checked something else: ‘done’. It was incredible. The experience was almost overwhelming, and I knew working like that and being surrounded by a crew like this made my life super-easy. They are experts.” Andrés Madrid, Grand Prix Crew Chief, tells us his story: https://brnw.ch/21wHRVb #MotoGP #CrewChief #AndrésMadrid #BradBinder #ReadytoRace

30 YEARS OF THE DUKE – A LEGENDARY BEGINNING   In the early 90s, a young mechanic and racing enthusiast at KTM, Wolfgang Felber, pondered a question: Why were there only enduro and motocross bikes, but no KTM for road racing? That simple query sparked a remarkable journey. Drawing inspiration from the Enduro 620 LC4, Wolfgang crafted a street motorcycle using a simple concept; stick to the basics and build a high-performance around the potent race-winning single-cylinder engine. Felber's creation didn't stay hidden for long. Kalman Cseh, the Head of Sales at the time, noticed it in the employee parking lot and recognized its potential to captivate a new audience. Meanwhile, Stefan Pierer, searching for a bold vision for KTM Motor-Fahrzeugbau AG's future, eagerly embraced the idea of a street motorcycle. Renowned designer Gerald Kiska was enlisted to shape its aesthetics. A striking front fairing with ellipsoid double headlights combined with an orange-metallic paint job created a unique silhouette, with an aggressive stance and never-seen-before styling. With 50 hp, the KTM 620 DUKE was the most powerful single-cylinder on the market at the time, setting the tone and forging the bedrock on which future DUKE models would be built.   Wolfgang Felber, the racing rider who ignited the journey, poured his love and passion into building the first and second DUKE I and DUKE II models. What began 30 years ago as a side project evolved into a grand vision, birthing a new icon of the road – with legendary status to boot. Today, Wolfgang is the Head of Innovation & Special Projects at KTM and has played a part in every major DUKE development. Not only has the KTM DUKE range expanded to offer anyone with the DUKE mentality a seat, but it has also created a cult following like no other.   Explore the rich history of the KTM DUKE at the KTM Motohall Special Exhibition – 30 YEARS of DUKE, starting October 12th.   #KTM #DUKE #30YoD

THE ‘CODE THE LIGHT FANTASTIC’ COMPETITION – AND THE WINNERS ARE …   Remember the Code the Light Fantastic Competition that started a few months ago? The essence of the challenge was to develop an algorithm for a high beam lighting system using a pixel matrix to push the boundaries of artificial intelligence and deep learning. The three primary goals were to detect objects in front of the motorcycle from a captured image, to identify and map the exact region within the image that these objects occupy onto the pixel matrix, and finally to dim or turn off the corresponding pixels in the lighting system.   And now we would like to present the two lucky winners: Hüseyin Kaya Aydin and Elias Zobler Thank you for participating and congratulations to you both on this great success!   #KTM_AG #Competition #jointhewinningteam
