The US EPA has issued a pre-publication notice of the proposed listing of 9 per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and their allied forms (i.e., salts and isomers) as Hazardous Constituents under Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA; 40 CFR Part 261 Appendix VIII). The agency has looked at listing only four PFAS previously. The latest notice expands the proposed list by an extra five. Collaborative Approach Leads to Successful EPA Class VI Application. “Our company needed expert assistance in developing and submitting a US EPA Class VI well application for a large, proposed carbon sequestration project in California. This task is normally a complicated undertaking requiring the integration of reams of technical information, but our challenge was further complicated by a goal to submit the application from scratch within 10 weeks. We interviewed different firms and right away, discovered a “can-do” approach from the Trihydro team.
