School is back in session, which means our BackPack Program is in full swing. Second Harvest’s BackPack Program is designed to bridge the gap for children who lose access to nourishing food over the weekend or during school breaks. Without proper nutrition, children’s physical health, mental well-being, and academic success is at risk. The Well, one of our key partners in executing the BackPack Program, is making a significant impact for the children they serve in Williamson County, ensuring that students are better equipped to focus, participate in class, and engage with their peers.
