At Cadence, we resonate deeply with Dr. Eve Cunningham MD MBA’s insights on the burdens primary care physicians face. In her recent fireside chat at the MedCity News INVEST Digital Health conference, Dr. Cunningham addressed the overwhelming influx of patient data, much of which burdens physicians with unnecessary details. She emphasized how the healthcare system is strained, with physicians often feeling they can’t take on new patients due to anxiety over missing critical information. Remote patient monitoring, especially for chronic conditions like congestive heart failure and diabetes, offers a solution. Dr. Cunningham explained, “Partnering in a meaningful way, being mindful of the impact that you’re going to have on the workforce that’s doing brick and mortar work, and so that it makes sense to them and to their patients.” At Cadence, we’re committed to easing this burden by seamlessly integrating into existing care teams, supporting both patients and healthcare providers. As the healthcare industry evolves, these efforts are crucial to alleviating burnout and creating a sustainable future for virtual care. Together, we can improve outcomes, reduce the workload on primary care, and bring the next generation of healthcare solutions forward. https://lnkd.in/ddRdSqh2

In today’s #MissionMonday, we revisit a conversation had with Jessie: a 73-year-old from Hickory, North Carolina living with congestive heart failure. Thanks to Cadence’s remote patient care program, she’s able to easily manage her health from home and keep track of her daily vitals. "I've had a wonderful experience with Cadence," Jessie said in the video. "They're all wonderful people. It's really nice to know there's somebody that's keeping track of you.” With Cadence's support, she’s been empowered to manage her care, even though she was initially hesitant about using new technology. "Cadence set my phone up for me," said Jessie. "They took my blood pressure and then showed me how it would go to my phone." Her goal? To regain her health and get back on the road with her husband, riding their motorcycle to places like Graceland and the California coast.  "I want to be healthy for my family and for myself," she added. In this week’s #MissionMonday Cadence patient Dwain Scruggs from Waynesville, North Carolina opens up about how the program has brought him comfort and security by having our clinical team monitor and communicate with him on a consistent basis. Cadence Care Team member Amanda Comp “takes very good care of me,” he shares. “She checks-in with me to find out what I’m doing, and if my weight’s up. She always gives me a call. She helps me when I have questions with my medicine, too.” Since enrolling with Cadence, Dwain has worked hard to lose weight and lead a healthier lifestyle. "I would tell people that if they're having problems with their system, [Cadence] is the best thing you can do. It's something that we should have had a long time ago." Thank you, Dwain, for sharing your experience! We're so inspired by positive stories like these.

Released today: New data shows Lifepoint Health®’s remote care program for hypertension and type 2 diabetes yields positive outcomes for patients in underserved communities. Over the past three years, patients in Lifepoint's RPM programs have achieved outcomes equal to or better than their urban counterparts, with 10% more rural patients reaching target blood glucose levels, for example. These successful clinical outcomes prove the transformative impact of remote patient care on these communities, and we will continue to advocate for equitable reimbursement to ensure this progress reaches all patients, regardless of location. 🚨 New product release! Today we are thrilled to introduce our next-generation monitoring devices, enhancing remote patient care with best-in-class cellular connectivity and patient-first design. Cadence now offers stronger cellular connectivity than any other remote monitoring offering in the U.S. by working with the major cellular networks. Our new devices are optimized for usability, especially for our older demographic, and require no set-up. For patients and providers, this means more reliable health data, better management, and improved clinical outcomes, particularly in underserved communities. In some rural markets, we found that over 20% of patients experienced connectivity issues with industry-standard devices. Our devices are designed to overcome these challenges, ensuring that all patients—regardless of their location—have access to a new and more proactive form of care.
