Most tech wasn't built with children in mind. We're on a mission to change that.

Children on computer

We believe in media that inspires and entertains families of all kinds. In technology that protects privacy and supports communities. In learning tools that prepare learners and educators for success in a connected world.

Discover how we're working to make the digital world better for children and families.

Our Approach

Together with our partners, we're working at every level to build a more healthy, equitable, and empowering future for all children in the digital age. Our approach protects and empowers children through the change we want to see at individual and structural levels.

Families

Focus on conversations not controls. Engage. Be a role model.

Educators

Make time to integrate digital literacy & citizenship in the curriculum. Build learner agency.

Tech Companies

Take responsibility. Innovate to design safe, age-appropriate products.

Policymakers

Establish regulations and guardrails to hold companies accountable.

  • WHAT WE DO

    Investigate

Provide parents, learners, health organisations and policymakers with reliable, independent research data on children's use of media and technology and the impact it has on their physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.

  • WHAT WE DO

    Rate

Inform families with the largest, most trusted library of independent, age-based ratings and reviews of media on our website, and app, as well as reaching approximately 12 million UK users through our partnership with Sky Cinema. Read about our new AI Product Reviews.
