In the fall of 2023, the Biden Administration issued the Executive Order on the Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence. Kean Miller, in conjunction with Thompson Coburn LLP’s Janette Lohman, Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s Jennifer Karpchuk, Fredrikson & Byron, P.A.’s Masha Yevzelman, and Pierce Atwood LLP’s Olga Goldberg, hosted a party for attendees this week during the 2024 ABA-IPT Advanced Tax Seminars (March 11-15). Guests were treated to a traditional New Orleans-style second line with The Sirens of New Orleans and Lagniappe Brass Band leading the way. Everyone second lined from The Royal Sonesta, where the conference is being held, to the Spring Fiesta House in the world-famous French Quarter. Guests dined on New Orleans favorites, including red beans and rice, gumbo, crab cakes, and boiled shrimp. Before the night concluded, the hostesses conducted a trivia contest in which guests answered fun and challenging tax questions to crown the royalty of the evening. Irish & Stylish! Kean Miller celebrated St. Patrick’s Day early today. Attorneys and staff across our footprint enjoyed a “Green Eggs and Ham” breakfast buffet and an Irish Barbeque for lunch all while dressed in their finest “Kean Green” attire. The day ended with a visit from the Legal Leprechaun and a treasure hunt.
