Kids Sleep Guides

Has anyone done/requested a sleep study for there child. My 4 yo has had chronic sleep issues since birth, and I want to get them looked at. We kept assuming it was a normal child thing, but I’m really feeling like she’s an outlier. I was thinking of starting a log of her sleep patterns before ask

I am wondering the overall consensus of locking a child in their room while they sleep. Is it ok, necessary, or wrong? This would include all versions. Whether you actually lock the door to keep them in their room at night, gate them in, have a child safety knob on the door, or any other method.

For the past 4days my child has been going to sleep super late. She’s 10 months about to be 11 months. I’ve tried everything. I wake up at 6am for work and her fighting sleep till 1am is killing me! Any subjections I’m open to anything.
