At LinkedIn, we don't tolerate inappropriate activities or behavior such as spam, harassment, scams, and misinformation. Our Professional Community Policies outline acceptable and unacceptable activities and provide you guidance for reporting spam, inappropriate, or abusive content.
-
"Fake account" means someone creates a phony profile or impersonates another person.
-
"Spam" means someone advertises a product for monetary gain or posts irrelevant content for high visibility.
-
"Scam" means someone asks for personal information or money or posts suspicious links.
-
"Misinformation" means you believe that it's presenting false information as if it were true.
When you report another member's content, they won't be notified who reported them, and you should no longer see the content or conversation that you reported in your feed or messaging inbox. We may review the reported content or conversation to take additional measures like warning or suspending the author if the content is in violation of our Terms of Service. In some cases, you’ll receive more information on the outcome via email. Manage the updates you receive about your reported content from your Settings.
