I spent yesterday evening at the Battle of the Clouds - the mashup of Yorkshire DevOps, Yorkshire Azure User Group, and @AWS Leeds - and what a great event it was! Four quick-fire, super insightful talks with the lens on Kubernetes, led by Andy Burgin (he/him), Jon Topper), Lubna Thomas, David Collom, and @Samuel Wu. I even leaped on stage, sharing some insights on the growth of Kubernetes over the last 12 months. Main takeaway - and probably not so surprising to hear - it's still growing massively😉 In some industries, more than 40% in the last year! On another note - both my Photographers have been sacked this morning. As always thanks to BJSS for hosting and Ethan S., Jared Holgate, Ethan Jones, Thomas Black, and all those heads that make these events happen seamlessly month in month out. #leedstechevents #devops #awsmeetup

Evening all - this time last year we had just finished day one of #walkforlindsay and over the following 5 days over a hundred people joined us on the walk and as a collective of those walking and supporting we raised over £50,000 for the PSPA as well as raising awareness of this hideous disease that my wife Lindsay Coney is suffering from.
