To qualify for Prime Access, please be prepared to upload one of nine forms of verification for any of the following government assistance programs: Supplemental Security Income (this is different from Social Security and SSDI), SNAP, Medicaid, Direct Express Debit Card (DE), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), National School Lunch Program (NSLP), Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Women, Infants, and Children program (WIC), Tribal assistance eligibility letter (TTANF), or Puerto Rico's Nutrition Assistance Program (NAP).

Does Prime Access offer a free trial?
Yes. Before you begin paying $6.99/month for a monthly membership—if you’ve not qualified for a Prime membership in the last 12 months—you can sign up for a free 30-day trial. To sign up, your account must have a current, valid payment method. You can re-qualify for a free trial once every 12 months.

When will I be billed for my membership?
Once you’ve uploaded and verified your eligibility for Prime Access, you’ll enter your payment details. Then, you’ll begin your 30-day free trial. Once your free trial ends, we’ll automatically charge for the next membership period using the payment method you provided.
If I’m not satisfied, can I cancel anytime? Will I be refunded?
Yes. You can cancel your Prime Access membership at any time by visiting your account and updating your membership preferences. Paid members who haven’t used their benefits may be eligible for a full refund for the current membership period.
Can I sign up for Prime Access on my mobile phone?
Yes. Aside from qualifying on desktop, you can also sign up on a mobile web browser. However, you can not qualify directly on the Amazon shopping app.
