🎉 We are thrilled to announce that Global Rescue and our GRID 2.0 Travel Intelligence App have been named to Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2024. Many thanks to our incredible team, whose passion and efforts have made this honor possible. “Our list of the Most Innovative Companies is both a comprehensive look at the innovation economy and a snapshot of the business trends that defined the year,” said Fast Company editor-in-chief Brendan Vaughan. 🎉 The GRID 2.0 system distributes targeted notifications and alerts to individuals who could be impacted by events including civil unrest, disease-related developments, safety issues, transportation disruptions, communications blackouts, and natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes, earthquakes and volcanic activity. As leisure and business travel increase globally, so do the challenges to balance safety in the face of travel disruptions from extreme weather, flooding threats and transportation delays as well as threats of international violent conflicts, terrorism and civil unrest. Most travelers lack immediate access to travel intelligence information or communication capabilities that may be lifesaving in the event of a medical or security emergency. 🎉 Learn more at https://lnkd.in/eT4TwNhN #FCMostInnovative Fast Company #TravelBoldly #GRID #GlobalRescue

When you hear Switzerland, you may think about watches, chocolates, or the Swiss Alps. Swiss ski resorts see over 23 million visitors each and every year, many of whom are tourists coming from outside the country. Last spring, A U.S. member was visiting (and skiing) when they had an accident on the slopes, resulting in a dislocated shoulder. Could happen to anyone, right? Instead of trying to figure out how to get medical help on her own, she called up Global Rescue and we organized (and paid for) her to be 🚁airlifted to a nearby hospital. We also determined she was going to need assistance to return home, so we helped organize that and even provided the ground transportation from the Newark International Airport, to her her home in New York to ensure her safety! Like we always say, don't leave home without a Global Rescue Membership! Renew or purchase your first membership now, before prices go up at the end of the month.
