THE COUNCIL ON PATIENT SAFETY IN WOMEN’S HEALTH
The multidisciplinary Council on Patient Safety in Women’s Health Care was convened by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) in 2011 and voted to dissolve in 2021.
Over its ten years, the Council included representation from 19 member organizations and patient advocates. Its members worked alongside numerous subject matter experts, patients, and families to develop tools and resources designed to improve women’s health care, and maintained resources are available on our
Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) website.
