Did Carnival Records release 2 singles (this article) or 1 single (Carnival article) before changing name to A&M Records? warpozio 10:09, 1 January 2006 (UTC)

Spamming[edit]

Visitors, please note: this A&M Records page has been spammed by a company called On A&M Records. This article is linked and referenced several times (see the References section) to a commercial site that charges visitors for access to information, and these links here are being used solely to boost search engine rankings. An official complaint has been filed with Wikipedia to stop the vandalism of this page by the spammer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.118.119.155 (talk) 18:32, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Restructuring of article[edit]

I just restructured the article (added tags, removed a lot of bytes, etc.) Edit mercilessly, critique mercifully. --I dream of horses (talk) 01:54, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

The recent edits to the article are not accurately supported.[edit]

The recent edits by Smarty9108 do not make any sense, and from what I can tell are not supported. The sources provided do not back up that A&M has been shuttered in the U.S., or that it has been reconfigured into a U.K. label that is now being distributed by IDJMG. The provided 'source' simply directs to the IDJMG website, with no additional citing for these claims. If a more thorough source cannot be provided, the article should be reverted back to the way it was. - The Real One Returns (talk) 15:03, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

Well, Mercury Records (under IDJMG) is distributing the A&M Records UK division which is only Duffy and Alex. All the US artists are with Interscope now. Smarty9108 (talk) 11:13, 20 August 2013 (CDT)
This still doesn't validate the claims made. It's common for artists to have different international labels under the same umbrella. That doesn't always make a statement about the labels operations themselves. None of your sources explicitly state that A&M is now a UK-only label that is handled through Island Def Jam. Please cite your claims, else we'll need to revert the article back its previous standing. - The Real One Returns (talk) 07:08, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
