Loro Piana Interiors celebrates the joy and irreverence of Italian architect and designer Cini Boeri during Milan Design Week with an installation designed in collaboration with Archivio Cini Boeri and Arflex. The middle of the exhibition hosts the iconic Strips system, while each of the surrounding spaces is dedicated to a product family. The path invites guests to interact with the pieces, always following Cini Boeri’s teaching that furniture is made to engage with users, adapting, and evolving according to their needs. On International Women's Day, Loro Piana and the EllesVMH Italian community have embraced several initiatives to celebrate womens' empowerment.   On March 8th, employees have been gifted with flower seeds and mimosas symbolizing the commitment to blossoming a future of diversity, equity and equal opportunity. To celebrate together this day, an exclusive film has been screened for Loro Piana people in Milan featuring the critically acclaimed "C'è Ancora Domani," directed by Paola Cortellesi.    At Loro Piana, we did not stop here deciding to support ALF, an association that promotes dialogue on women in cinema, in its project aimed at fostering women's access to the world of film screenwriting.    These are just a few examples of our commitment to strive for a more inclusive future and contribute to a respectful and equal work environment. To further support the growth of craftsmanship, Loro Piana launched a partnership on ready-to-wear with Istituto Secoli as part of their new Prototyping Course in Novara.   The students visited Loro Piana factories to enrich their knowledge about our Maison, discovering our Excellences and savoir-faire. During the one-year program, they will attend Masterclasses to deepen their understanding of our products under the guidance of our technicians. At the end of the course, students will have the opportunity to join the Maison through an internship, immersing themselves in the world of Loro Piana.   We are proud to continue supporting the growth of young students and investing in the development of future artisans and technicians.   #LoroPiana

The second edition of the “Maestri d'Ecccellenza” award by Métiers d'Excellence LVMH has begun, with the aim of recognizing and enhancing the value of Made in Italy.   This year, as partner Maison, Loro Piana continues to endorse and support Italian savoir-faire, always in collaboration with Confartigianato Imprese and The National Chamber for Italian Fashion.   Damien Bertrand, CEO of Loro Piana, stated “We recognise our responsibility to perpetuate craftsmanship for future generations. We must pass on to them not only technical skills, but also respect for tradition, a passion for excellence and innovation. The fascinating world of Loro Piana craftsmanship. Discover the historical “fiore di cardo” machine where dried thistle flowers were used as a tool during the finishing process of raising and brushing the surface of the most precious fabrics in the Quarona factory in Piedmont. This emblematic flower is celebrated in the refined details of the Fall/Winter 2024-2025 Collection. Loro Piana celebrates the finest Merino wool in the world at the Loro Piana Record Bale Award in London. An exceptional prize, created 25 years ago, by Pier Luigi Loro Piana to fulfill the ultimate quest of the finest bale of merino wool in the world.   The award ceremony unveiled this year a new World Record Bale, breaking the previous record from 2013. This new Record Bale comes from the Australian farm Pyrenees Park with an exceptional fibre of only 10,2 micron.    The award is a perfect replica of Italian artist Pino Castagna’s "il Muro", the Wall, an impressive art piece located at the entrance of the Loro Piana Quarona factory in Italy.    #LoroPiana #RecordBale
