Yes. We provide all the equipment including wings, boards, foils wet suits, helmets and impact vests. All you need to bring is some foot ware you don't mind getting wet, towel and suitable clothing for being outside.

Without proper training it can be dangerous.

With proper training we can teach you how to learn safely.  It is vital you approach Wing Surf Foiling with respect and learn slowly and carefully, and an exciting world lays ahead of you.

Helmets and impact vests are provided

Having said that it is inevitable at some point you will come into contact with your foil. You should be prepared for some bruises and cuts during your Wing Foiling journey.

Customer with no windsurfing experience should start with the Taster Course, then the Improvers course before moving onto the Improvers clinic or Intermediate clinic. 99% of customers will want to complete the Intermediate Clinic Multiple times.

Customer with some windsurfing experience should start with the  Improvers Course before moving onto the Improvers clinic or Intermediate clinic. 99% of customers will want to complete the Intermediate Clinic Multiple times.

Learning to wing foil is spilt into off foil and on foil sections.

The Taster and improvers courses, and the Improvers Clinic are off foil. These focus on mastering the skills of wing and board control to prepare you to get on to foil. It is essential to gain these skills before trying to get onto foil.

We start to get onto foil on the Intermediate Clinic (First Flights)

Hove Lagoon is an old Victorian boating lake so has a solid bottom and is only waist deep. This means that any time you need to you can stand up. It is also right next to the sea so on those hot sunny days when there is little wind we can usually expect a sea breeze. Being next to the sea when people are ready we can move their learning away from the lagoon and on to the sea itself. The lagoon is in the middle of a public park so not only do you have the beach near by but you also have a kids play area and a skate park so anyone not taking part will have something to do. There is also an onsite licensed cafe for spectators and participants.

Alterations to Bookings
Customers are able to rearrange course dates up to two times with no charge when Lagoon Watersports is given :

48 hours notice for courses under £75 per person
7 days notice for courses priced between £76 - £300 per person
14 days notice for course over £301 per person

If Lagoon Watersports is given less than the required notice period this considered to be a cancellation.

In circumstances when a customer requests more than two changes of a date, a rebooking fee of 50% of the course fee will be charged.

In circumstances where the customer is unable to choose new dates or Lagoon Watersports is unable to offer suitable alternative dates a credit will be applied to the customers account that is valid for 24 months.

Cancellation charges
Customers may cancel a course with written notification from the lead name in your group.

The following cancellation fees apply when Lagoon Watersports is given :

More than 4 weeks notice before course/event starts – 25% of the course price will be taken as a cancellation fee.
Less than 4 weeks notice before course/event starts – 100% of the course price will be taken as cancellation fee.

Course Cancellation by Lagoon Watersports
In circumstance where Lagoon Watersports cancels a course (Excluding Force Majeure) the customer may choose a new date or a full refund.

Postponement due to COVID-19

If you are required to self isolate via government guidelines you can reschedule you booking to a later date within our schedule availability. No refunds are available due to COVID-19.

Force Majeure
In circumstances out of our control we will endeavour to rebook and hold credit for any activity in the future valid for 24 months. This includes cancellation by us due to COVID-19. No refunds will be given in these circumstances.
