Given the intensity of the events in our community, and the world at large, we are experiencing an increased volume of individuals and families needing mental health support. As a result, a delay may occur in matching individuals to our services. We understand this may be frustrating or discouraging, and that this is not ideal.
We appreciate your patience as our team is working hard to return your message in a timely manner as we all navigate this time of increased need and concern. We assure you PrairieCare is here to provide the necessary healing space for all.
Our AID team, when appropriate, will help schedule a clinic service at PrairieCare, at one of our sites around the metro area.
If the completed Mental Health Screening indicates a potential need for a level of mental health care higher than outpatient clinic services, our staff will schedule an Admission Diagnostic Assessment, billed to insurance. Results of this evaluation will determine the recommended level of treatment care and provide guidance for next steps. To schedule, our team is available by calling 952-826-8475 during the following times:
In certain circumstances, PrairieCare’s Admissions Therapist and consulting psychiatrist may recommend starting treatment quickly or may refer to an Emergency Department for immediate attention, depending on severity of symptoms and availability of program resources.
Please note, some special conditions may be best treated in a program or with an agency other than PrairieCare. We collaborate with other community providers to make sure that patients are connected with the best specialists for their needs. We look forward to talking with you!
