Where is One Medical located? Can I visit One Medical offices in different cities?
One Medical members and patients can book appointments at any of the many thoughtfully designed and welcoming offices across the U.S. For your convenience, we recommend checking with One Medical’s office prior to making an appointment to ensure your insurance plan is accepted at the office you plan to visit, as this may vary based on location.
What if I'm in a city or state without any One Medical locations?
One Medical continues to open new offices in new locations. Details around existing and upcoming locations can be found on the One Medical website.
If you don’t have a One Medical location in your state, you can still sign up for a One Medical membership by selecting the geography closest to you when registering. You'll be able to access virtual care features, such as 24/7 on-demand video chats and other digital care options available in the One Medical app. You will not, however, have access to in-person services unless you travel to a geography with a One Medical care office or until One Medical opens a care office near you.
Depending on your location, there may be requirements that One Medical sees you in-person or over video before providing virtual care to you. That means certain virtual services may not be available to you until you have an in-office or video-based visit with One Medical.
If you are eligible for a One Medical membership through your employer, you may be able to receive care even though you are not in a state with an in-person location. Can One Medical write new prescriptions or renew prescriptions?
One Medical makes it easy to request and renew prescriptions. If your One Medical provider determines that a prescription is appropriate as part of your course of treatment, your provider will send it electronically to your pharmacy of choice. If you have an existing prescription, you can submit a request to have it renewed through the renewal request tool within your One Medical online account or the One Medical mobile app once you become a One Medical member. Your request will be sent to the Virtual Medical Team, who will review and send your prescription to your pharmacy if appropriate.
Can I add my spouse or dependents to my membership?
One Medical only offers individual annual memberships. You cannot bundle a spouse or child to your membership upon check-out. Parents and guardians can create an account for children under 18 and spouses and dependents 18 and older can sign-up for their own individual membership. Check with your employer to see if they offer a One Medical membership for your dependents.
Why is there an annual membership fee?
The One Medical annual membership fee covers access to One Medical’s on-demand and asynchronous virtual care services as well as high-touch and value-added personal services such as insurance navigation and referral management. The on-demand virtual services are accessible through the One Medical app (at no additional cost), featuring 24/7/365 on-demand video chats, secure provider messaging, “Treat Me Now” assessments for common health concerns, easy vaccine and medical record access, prescription renewals, and proactive reminders for follow-up care and referral needs.
The Annual Membership Fee is not a covered benefit under most health insurance plans.

Can I pay for the membership using my FSA/HSA?
