Lisbon is great. (I’m sure Porto is too, for lack of ambiguity, and look forward to visiting likely later this year. And, to be clear, when I say nice things about Lisbon I’m really saying nice things about all of Portugal. Cool?) Looking forward to next trip to visit team here.

cloudflare d1 updates are 🔥🔥🔥 🔸 3700% (!!) faster than before (on northwinds demo) 🔸 easy querying from the dashboard 🔸 JSON functions support 🔸 location hints (these made our demos for frameworks like remix so much faster) and… replication coming soon

Lots of newer Cloudflare features (like Access or Zaraz) are built on Workers, but we're also gradually transitioning all of the old traditional CDN features to be built on Workers too, with benefits for performance and our own development velocity.

Cloudflare was originally built as native services, but we’re building more and more of it on Cloudflare itself. This post describes how and why we’re doing this. cfl.re/3ME1r5W #DeveloperWeek

Know that crazy German court ruling where 9.9.9.9 has to block a site globally because it was found illegal locally and users could use VPNs to access it? Same logic would mean a Montana court can now find that TikTok must now be banned globally. #TeletubbyInternet

This is an extremely bad local court decision. It inherently violates basic principles of the Rule of Law and the sovereignty of jurisdictions beyond the court’s reach. How dare a local court in Germany dictate what non-German citizens cannot see? 1/3
