Wisconsinite here-- how did you find out about House on the Rock of all places? Was it less obscure 22 years ago? Now whenever I bring it up with people and find out they haven't been there, I say "the place with the carousel from American Gods" and about 90% of the time they know right away what I'm talking about.
I think it was a lot more obscure back then. But then, I moved to Wisconsin in 1992 and lived there for two decades. I saw the signs nearby for The House on the Rock, and decided to go and look, urged on by fellow Wisconsinite, Maggie Thompson, from the Comics Buyers Guide.
Periodic reminder to myself to say thank you for writing Wanda when I was like in kindergarten and didn't even know being trans was literally an actual thing that could actually happen for like...a couple decades nearly, and wouldn't crack my egg for nearly another decade.

Hello, my friend has these and found they seem very similar. What would you say is the difference between them, considering they have the same stories (roughly) (we can see some differences as lucifer is larger and different concept art in the backs)

Well, the biggest difference between them is that The Dreaming collection is a collection of The Dreaming comics, about Cain and Abel and Lucien and Merv Pumpkinhead and co., but not Lucifer, written by Si Spurrier, and art by Bilquis Evely and Mat Lopes, with one storyline in it, while the other is a completely different collection of Lucifer comics, with a completely different story with different people in it, like Lucifer, but not Cain or Abel or Lucien or Merv Pumpkinhead, written by Dan Watters, art by Dan and Sebastian Fiumara and Dave McCaig.
I’m in Santa Fe so of course I went down to the picket line outside a local studio. George RR Martin was there too, and I got to see Paris, George’s better half, as well. So was incredible author Nnedi Okorafor who had driven in from Arizona to be on the picket line.
George RR Martin is such a good supporter he’s been on strike from writing his books for years.

My boyfriend made this joke yesterday. Today I saw this post and texted him a screenshot of it with the comment, “Neil Gaiman says your joke is bad and you should feel bad.”
He texted back, “He said no such thing. He simply informed us of the rules.” And then send a pic of his donation confirmation.
I had dinner with George tonight and informed him of the low-hanging joke and the rule. Your boyfriend is spot on.
I’m not exactly an actor but every now and again I find myself playing Neil Gaiman on things, to the point where I’m now a SAG-AFTRA member. I voted yes, still hoping (as I hoped as a writer) that strike action won’t be needed.
