Program Director with a passion for advancing equity, early childhood development, and support for working moms.
Ebony Wrenn, Ed.D., serves as the Program Director for Mom Congress. Ebony joined the Mom Congress team after serving for over ten years in the field of urban education, most recently as an Early Childhood Principal. Ebony is passionate about ending generational poverty through empowering, encouraging, and elevating mothers. While reflecting on her personal and professional experiences, Ebony believes in an intergenerational approach to advocating for mothers; if we support mothers, their children will be supported as well. In her free time, Ebony enjoys reading a good book, traveling with her children, exploring pescatarian cuisine, and creating memories with family and friends.

Joy Burkhard, MBA, is the founder of Mom Congress.
Joy is known as a collaborator as well as a fierce advocate for representing the interests of mothers. She has been recognized for her leadership and vision with several awards, including receiving The American Public Health Association’s Maternal Child Health Leadership and Advocacy Award, and the "Emerging Leader" award in women's health from the federal Health and Human Services Agency, Office of Women's Health. Joy lives with her husband and two Jr. High and High school-age children in the Los Angeles, California area.

Crystal McAuley joined the Mom Congress team in 2019 and has a passion for creating community connections and meaningful, equitable policy change. She leads the Mom Congress Member Community and is the organizer behind Mom Congress' advocacy efforts and events. She is a mother to two elementary school-aged boys.

A mom mobilizer and storytelling extraordinaire.
Bekah Bischoff supports Mom Congress's legislative advocacy work by preparing mothers and other advocates to meet with members of Congress. Following her own near-death experience and postpartum recovery with the birth of her second child due to severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome, Bekah is passionate about helping moms identify and heal from their traumatic birth experiences. Her work centers on helping empower women to transform their pain into purpose. She is committed to ensuring mothers are given a seat at the policy table.
She calls Louisville, KY home where she lives with her husband Joseph, her two elementary and junior high-aged children, and two adopted babies.
Jordan Fink
Social media and communications manager dedicated to amplifying voices on mental health and motherhood, striving to foster understanding, support, and empowerment.
Jordan Fink serves as the social media and communications contractor at Mom Congress and has worked in the motherhood, mental health, and advocacy space for over 10 years. Her work focuses on fostering online communities and empowering women by providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive. She lives outside Philadelphia with her husband, Alex, and their one-eyed dog, Piper.
