- [Instructor] There's one security feature that I want to highlight. You don't have to do this. It is entirely optional. But if Shopify is a major part of your business, you'll probably want to protect it. I'm talking about two-factor authentication. If you've never heard the term before, it basically means in addition to a username and password, you'll also need a code from another device, usually your phone. So when you try to log in, a code will be sent to your phone, and you'll have to enter it. This really helps your security. Even if a hacker got your password, they don't have your phone and can't get in. As a general business rule, any accounts that make you money should have two-factor authentication. So I recommend you turn this on now or as soon as you start making money. I'll click on my profile picture, and then manage account. Then I'll go to security.
