Michael S. Spencer, who’s served as the interim dean since Jan. 1, has been appointed the Ballmer Endowed Dean of the School of Social Work beginning July 1 pending approval by the UW Board of Regents.

Cherry blossoms on track for early April peak bloom

This year’s colder-than-usual spring delays the peak bloom slightly with blossoms set to emerge the week of March 20, according to the UW campus arborist. A new visitor’s website will have all of the updates an information needed, including a blossom tracker and details on transportation, activities, amenities and more.
