Successful tender under the GSA banner

In March 2014 Link Group in partnership with Equiniti under the banner of the Global Share Alliance (GSA), successfully tendered for the management of the share registers of dual listed Old Mutual Ltd. Old Mutual has the largest share register in South Africa, in addition to registers in Zimbabwe, Malawi, Namibia and the UK.

This is the first time a multi-jurisdictional provider comprising different companies offering an integrated service offering has been selected by a company of this size. The contract was won from Computershare and the registers were successfully migrated to Link Market Services South Africa and Equiniti of the UK on 1st September 2014.
