Wikipedija:Boti

Stran je uradno pravilo slovenske Wikipedije. Sprejema ga velika večina urejevalcev in je standard, ki naj mu sledijo vsi uporabniki. Pri urejanju pravila pazite, da spremembe resnično izražajo soglasje skupnosti. Kadar o tem niste prepričani, se najprej pogovorite na pogovorni strani.

• Operater in bot morata biti prijavljena.
• Pred delovanjem bota mora operater obvestiti skupnost glede namere tukaj in dobiti soglasje za delovanje.
• Iz imena bota naj bo razvidno, da uporabnik ni oseba (npr. XXX-Bot).
• Bot naj bo uvrščen na spodnji seznam.
• Predstavitvena stran naj vsebuje ime bota, programski jezik, ime operaterja, opis dejavnosti in povezavo na stran, kjer se vas lahko kontaktira v primeru težav (uporabite to predlogo).

These are the valid guidelines for the running of bots on the Slovene Wikipedia:

• The operator must be a registered user and his bot must be approved.
• Before running the bot, the operator must inform the community here and obtain an approval.
• The bot's name should incorporate the word bot, thus indicating that it is an automaton (for example, XXX-Bot).
• After obtaining approval, the bot should be entered in the index below.
• The bot's userpage should include the name of the bot, the programming language, the operator's name, a description of the bot's activities and a link to the page where the operator can be contacted in case of malfunction (use this template).
