How your toddler's growing

If your toddler has shown signs that she is ready for potty training, you may already have started. Some toddlers take to it very quickly, while others may lose interest, do wees but not poos, or refuse to have a go. If so, try again in a few weeks' time.

It may take longer for toddlers to be dry at night than during the day, and most will have accidents for some time.

If your child isn't toilet trained yet, don't get upset. My son wasn't ready until he was almost three, and then he really got into it. It might help to give him a book or video explaining the process - that was useful for us.
