Set up your tax-exempt status and have it applied to all qualifying purchases from Amazon.com, its affiliates, and participating independent third-party sellers going forward. If buying from a third party seller who participates in ATEP, we will provide them a certificate on your behalf.
Contact your local tax advisor to see if you are eligible for tax exemptions.
What you'll need to provide
enrollment states or territories
type of organization
organization's address
tax exemption number or exemption form
Note: Some state or U.S. territory exemptions are only issued by their respective taxing authorities. If you have such an exemption, you will be asked to upload your certificate for enrollment. If you choose to list Amazon or any of its subsidiaries as a seller of record on the certificate, we can only exempt you from those specific sellers.
Choose an account for your exemption
Before you set up your exemption, we recommend creating an Amazon Business account if you are placing orders for an organization. It's not required, but it'll give you access to even more job-related products, discounts, and services.
