    We exposed "my body my choice" as , making possible the reversal of Roe v Wade.

    We haven’t (and probably won’t, can’t) reckoned w/the fact that we destroyed the global economy, shredded what was left of the Constitution, and forcibly injected the population w/an experimental vaccine just to end up where we would’ve been if we did none of that.

    Is he lying, ignorant or delusional? Abortion “required” according to psychological health? Lol. Perhaps he means in Reform or Reconstructionist Judaism! But then, how can so many European countries—unlike US Blue States—deny this exercise of “religious freedom” after 12 weeks?

    In Judaism, not only is abortion allowed, but is required if pregnancy endangers the physical or psychological health of the pregnant mother. Anti-abortion laws are not about freedom of religion, they are about enforcing certain religious beliefs on everyone else.

    Deterrence failed in Ukraine because Putin exaggerated his own strengths, Ukrainian weakness, and believed US/European responses would be more rhetorical than real. Iran, too, thinks it is stronger than it is and also doubts we will do much against its threats. Learn the lesson.

    One point to consider: before Russia’s invasion, Russia was expected to quickly overwhelm the Ukrainians and install a puppet regime. Given that view, we apparently offered to evacuate Zelenskyy. Why were we so wrong about Russia/Ukraine forces? What should we learn from this?

    Irony is that by refusing to up their oil production, Saudi and UAE help their chief nemesis, Iran's regime. I don't understand why they don't use their leverage--more oil at lower cost--to push for a US policy that deters Iran. Or are they and being refused by Biden?

    The main reason gas prices are sky high is that Saudi Arabia and the UAE are deliberately helping Russia, and undercutting our sanctions, by refusing to increase oil production. As this piece argues, the time has come to tell them to choose sides.

    امروز در سنای آمریکا گفتم مردم در کل منطقه خاورمیانه می خوان که جمهوری اسلامی شکست بخوره و آنها به کرامت خودشان برسند. آمریکا باید خودش رو حاضر بکنه برای روز بعد از برندازی که پشتیبانی مردم باشه برای ساختن یک ایران دموکراتیک، با صلح، ثبات و پیشرفت اقتصادی .

    Ancient Greeks practiced exposure of unwanted infants. Likewise Aztec gods approved human sacrifice. Eugenicists found it reasonable to euthanize the weak and inferior as did the German Master Race. Cannibals offer another example. Why not follow these religions, other countries?

    And impious. For he must mean either/both God and/or Reason yet refuses to point us toward either except to say that some religions/peoples do (and some don’t) support his prejudice. He won’t even lead us through steps secular nations took to discern Reason’s dictates. For shame!

    He thinks sovereign people bound by something transcendent they obligated to recognize proscribing certain proscriptions, but doesn’t say what, or where it resides except in unnamed religions, other countries w/ more restrictive policies than Blue State USA. This is unreasonable.

    Yes there is, that's why the impending ruling is so outrageous. This right exists in many countries, it exists in religious laws, and has existed in US law for 50 years. It's not outlandish to expect it to persist.
