In 2021, data shows that 26 girls in Kenya were newly infected with HIV every day. In Sub-Saharan Africa, 4200 girls and young women were infected with HIV every week. All these infections were preventable.

My dear brother was able to access treatment at an ARV trial clinic in Ug, but he kept falling out of treatment because he feared the strong stigma against PLHIV at that time. If there was no stigma, I believe that my brother wld be alive today. RIP

For me HIV is more than a disease; it is an injustice. With all we know from 40 yrs of this pandemic, the science, the drugs, the prevention tools, no one should be infected by HIV & no one should be dying from AIDS related causes. We can end the ugly inequalities driving HIV!
