MERL Center
The monitoring, evaluation, research & learning (MERL) Center is an open source community founded by Tech for Social Good and in partnership with MERL Tech. Members of the MERL Center collaborate to create guides, case studies and other resources on if, how and when to use open source for MERL solutions.

In 2020, the Social Impact Team launched the Skills-Based Volunteering program to help social sector organizations address common challenges they face using GitHub and other tech platforms. Since then, Hubbers have helped more than 15 social sector organizations address these challenges through short-term virtual volunteering projects.
