Birthday - EF - Rama Sirisha .. Ef Sonia Sehgal .. Wednesday, 18 January .. and my affection and love for the day for you .. from the Ef family ..

The moment looms large and in the memory of the departure of Babuji .. left behind all that I adapted in his presence and learnt in the grasp of his early morning walks with me .. his work ethics, his will, his compassion, his beliefs, his creativity in the words he expressed, his reprimands on all the right issues, his protective heart and arms over the family .. and the extraordinary legacy he has left behind .. each moment in time and place and occasion .. he strides before me in guidance .. and I follow only that which goes before me - now his overpowering shadow ..

He left us later at night .. today .. but it seems like every night today .. how his hands went cold as I held on to him, in that onerous sound of the ‘straight line’ .. and then just stared at him and his glowing face , without a word ..

What does one say or feel in such conditions .. it was to happen .. will happen to all of us .. and yet the belief that it shall not ..

when the day dawns I shall pray .. visit his study .. stand in front of his large framed picture along with Maa .. and just stay .. and seek his protection and strength as ever he be in the reality of his presence ..

Babuji .. I called him Dad , as did everyone else .. he left us , but he remains about us each moment ..

Birthday - EF - Ayush Mehta .. Siddharth EF .. Tuesday, 17 January .. my greetings and love for this special day and prayers from the Ef family

We are in awe of the amount of documentation that has been done in the history of our Film Industry .. and we are in extreme distress that there is no attempt to preserve this documentation , for posterity and the generations to come ..

Films memorabilia information posters materials used .. all lying in the bins of destruction and no one to restore and keep them in some professional order ..

BUT ..

There are some that do .. they are the Film Heritage Foundation, headed and created and worked on by Shivendra Singh .. a passion, a determined individual that has taken up this task .. and in its appreciation yours truly has become its Brand Ambassador to work towards its fruition .. to set up a modern Moving Image Museum her in Mumbai .. the designing and the work that has been seen and so generously done is truly a work and mission that shall become a milestone in the history of cinema in India ..

I shall of course keep all informed about this and shall seek whatever assistance is needed in putting this mammoth task before the World Audience , of which I can sincerely say, that when it is complete, it shall be one of the most stunning edifices dedicated to an Industry that is the largest in the World -

Birthday - EF - Rasha Zayed .. EF Krishna Ramdas .. Monday, 16 January .. and the wishes of all to you and the affection of grace and gratitude for this special day ..

It is the failing in the eyes of the mass that becomes the most defining moment in the life of any that depend on them and their taste ..

When you perform, in the field of creativity, there is ever the fear of coming up to expectations among them, that give such affection and following .. when it falls the edifice falls too .. the conscious decision then before the trial begins shall ever be not to be in a position of mistake !

But then they say - the soothe sayers - that a life without mistakes is a life not lived .. I proclaim the life of the lived .. of the multiple mistakes , of the reasons for their commitment , for the causes, for the dreams, for the expected achievement , for all and yet not at all ..

“For all of you are so tall .. and I am not at all” …

Observation in the times of today be the factor of the profession .. it has never been fallen to analysis, but should .. so much else gets the interest of analysis, not ours .. for we are in the category of no need to know .. we are the ‘filmy’ and therefore already in a discard mode .. be never in the underestimate of such .. the surprise of reckoning be the wildest guide to the moronic process of thought .. their thought not ours .. we the forbidden apple .. really ?

Structure the field of impression and resolve to the immediacy of habit, reflection, followed presence, remembered name and glory of such , of example in many such .. and more .. a hidden force unknown in capacity and opaque power … there but not there , for the one in the there, be in the lime of the light that glows towards the limelight ..

Time and times bring the alterations .. in the mode culture times and more .. they hinge on the form and steal of the land .. they imitate, they resign , they find reason, only to be dragged to the ultimate and then dropped like a bunch of roasted potatoes - delicious, but roasted .. in dark patches ..

All our bearings be such .. delicious, roasted, and in dark patches ..

When performance fails .. it be the destruction immeasurable .. that no yardstick manufactured yet can ever gauge ..

But love has no yardstick .. it be the similar both in the meaning and the practical .. more practical ..

time for the realisation that options bring problems .. they do they really do .. get one and the need to get more starts .. or the desire to get other options , if available .. selecting the right , rejecting the unwanted be all the nature of the World too ..

But .. the caution is ever .. reject once and the idea and thought of rejecting each time invades the mind and body ..

What then ..

Then you pick the one that dangles itself right before you .. a strike in the dark never knowing what be in store ..

Its the Garfield Sobers story :

Playing against India as Captain and discover not before long, that the WI team is not doing well .. so the obvious respite - a bottle of RUM .. in the dressing room .. time comes to bat as last batsman walks to pavilion .. by now the rum is over and the quaking feet are the answer ..

walks to the pitch and smashes the fastest 100, or some such feat .. they ask him how did you do it .. simple he says ..

“i was seeing 3 balls coming at me from the bowlers .. I was hitting the middle one “ !!!

elementary my dear Watson ..

such a dilemma .. which one to wear ? perhaps the affable Ef could tell and guide .. thank you very much ..

but really the last few days have been revealing and with so much invigorated boiling blood, that even the dressing of it failed to remove the curriculum activity each day .. dressing and all !!

it is also confirmed fact that the idleness of intrepid ness, does indeed have health issues ..

the penchant desire to be the know all and be all of existence and life, is the largest comedic known enterprise of humanity .. and the tragedy of the comedic is that they that believe that they be all of the end all .. end up on the floor .. unable to rise with the weight of their fallacy ..

so step back .. and watch the theatre of the absurd play out before you .. it would be a devastation if you participated in it .. for it has been written designed and executed by the ‘playwright’ himself or herself .. for which end no one knows .. but it is the expression of a lifetime to see their table tops turned over ..

they have missed out something in their lives which provokes such behaviour .. and they genuinely believe they are ever right and the rest of the World, wrong, misguided and incorrect !

Many are there that exist and wander about, about you .. till you take notice of them invite them and be mesmerised by their information on us all .. humanity ..

It is a culmination and the togetherness of festivities ..

Lohri, Makar Sankranti, Pongal .. and my wishes and greetings to all on these special days .. they cover the entire land mass of this country India and gives reason to all of the diverse nature of this beautiful land ..

may it ever spread peace and love and calm and togetherness as always

… and the DAY has been passed to the next and the desire to connect prevails .. though in a short while there shall be the selected work for the ‘breathing’ .. one that has remained in the structure and the culture of the land .. was in it from the very childhood, then life took over and there was an initiation later too .. almost at the same time as the beginning of the so called return to business professionally and the love and attention it received form the Ef and the public mass .. and now as time passes it has been begun once more ..

some matters repeat .. they design themselves in particular spot again again and again .. many feel the reason of some astrological stars, many others the day and the date .. but what needed to happen happened .. has been taken care of and we wait for the repair to occur .. but yes the occurrence when in the often is concerning not so much to the me but to the others …

schedules undergo change and that disturbs .. it puts on hold the many works that needed to be done .. but we shall adjust .. life adjusts many a time and this is merely another such occasion ..

the human body is the remarkable element of its build .. it is built to survive and exist on its own .. to heal to function without any external elements .. it shall work well if not disturbed by external elements .. if we damage the interior by polluting its basic ingredients, it shall of course revolt and fall ill .. we make it ill .. ill does not make it ill .. it only cures despite the damage we do .. it cures on its own .. that is the excellence of the body .. we must take care of it .. the more we do the more it shall be with us , undiluted, pure and in the extended period of time for its living ..

be in care .. be in calm .. be in peace ..

be in love ..

At work and delayed to be on set because of the very late finish last night .. but am ready and shall see you all in a while .. patience please

Jan 13, 1:50 PM .. and i am back to fulfil what was done and said earlier .. a return to the wishes and the Ef of the Blog ..

Yesterday was work oriented - a penchant, a must a longed for activity .. one that had been addressed with some authority in the post before .. work in its idleness is a no brainer , so when it does come it brings in many factors .. the work itself, the mobility of body - so essential , the training of the brain, the ability to self create and suggest , the interaction with humans - so obsolete when there is paucity of work .. and just the will and the desire to be at it way past the working dead line .. no dinner , no rest nothing just keep at it ..

And so it was .. and so it was lived with smile and desire of positivity ..

It was good .. it was missed .. but happy it came back ..

The rush of speed to do it right , to keep repeating the act till there is personal satisfaction and the added glamour and attention being given to the artist that stands alongside .. mention of which is not permitted yet ..

So .. its a break while they set up the next film for the Ad., work that I do today .. 2 have already been done .. and 3 more to go ..

See ya soon .. hopefully if the night is not too long ..

.. they accompany the World ever .. ye dosti .. !!!

.. but down memory lane .. some important dates of the day ..

This year .. 12 January 2023 .. it is 11 years since the last reported case of Polio in India .. thanks to your contribution .. 🙏🏻

January 12 .. Swami Vivekananda Jayanti .. also celebrated as National Youth Day Of India .. as a tribute to Swami Vivekananda .. a great Indian youth icon ..

An absence of time to adjust when at work, for that be the norm these not so busy daya .. a regret .. but shall hopefully change and bring the system back to normal .. ha .. normal 🤣 ..

NO .. work is the essence of life and if not make it so must and should be the element of extensive routine ..

The elements of non routine are beginning to be shaped .. some that were not accepted is now desired to be and hopefully should be ..

The fragile figure of uncertainty and taking the advice of the ones that claim the know all , shall pale certainly .. for nothing is the winner than the one decide of the self .. the self in consideration is the best .. if it works your decide .. if not your decide .. none from the other side of the wall to take credit or snipe at the failure ..

Be the one .. be the only .. make it yours .. make it .. and be the ONE ..

Oneness be the best ness ..

And work calls and do the disappear .. but in its oneness the one the self be here ..

🪔 .. January 11 .. birthday of Ef Susan S. .. wishes and greetings .. 🌿

In time it wears off .. the desire .. the desire to have made a mind .. and then it changes to the opposite and there is now a fresh horizon to view ..

whether it shall be the best sunrise witnessed or not, at least a rise is observed and recorded ..

slowly but surely the matters change and they - what be the word for a chemical mingle .. err .. acquiesce .. yes got it .. they conform and give consent to .. for the better hopefully ..

It is the time of the day that matters ..

the mornings ever in the freshness of the morn be in the best creative mode .. the evenings and the night - contemplative, and leading up to the morose ..

the reliance on much that was done away with seems to be in priority again .. this is untoward and not desired at all .. once given up, given up .. why rely on it again .. well not really relying, but depending with some desired anxiety to be had ..

Though the will to leave it shall ever prevail .. test me and it shall be done .. but the telling is the important part , or call it the art .. say and do .. but say .. else .. hmmm …

So the caretakers debate what should be the next venture for me and how it should be presented .. strange .. they have selective thoughts and ideas .. so i thought it best to get Ef opinions ..

It irks and relishes in the absence of any formed routine of the day - the body and mind - in substance and matter and ethics and rules and regulations and in the professionalism of time, and in the presence of the much awaited work force .. so mentioned because the need for the atmosphere to be in the changed form, shall be ever present but never desired ..

So be it ..

When routine and work are run in marathonic platforms for miles , it be the stone that passes by recounting the loss of multiple factors .. availability, ability, scheduled discharge .. and much more .. much more ..

For years now the governance has been in large spoken to about the mode or code of conduct of them that be in use of the roadways and highways, now being produced and executed with forward looking administration, that has given rise to hundreds of miles of .. yes .. ROADS ..

Roads .. the form of communicative effective delivery systems .. of travel, or connections and several other habitual needs ..

But the accidental Indian does never give, any substance of importance to what needs to be important and deliverable ..

So the GOI, conducts a Telethon - a pre recorded Telethon to perhaps in a sense , educate all that is in need of the various regulations prevalent and not so prevalent in order that some order is restored in the not so restored conditioned environ ..

So .. the time is set for the chatter and directions to be given with the dignitaries of the moment to speak to educate all them that need to be made aware of the ‘country of the system, in the haemoglobin of the atmosphere’ ..

The belief of the many be that the other is at fault .. that the makers are at fault .. never is there the admit on the self .. the self could be the reason for the fault .. think then of what the other on the road is thinking or doing or about to be doing .. and find ye the solution to several of the needed solutions ..

it is a commitment made and must be followed diligently .. for the life that gets unfortunately cut short , short cuts the lives of the may that lose loved ones and the near and dear .. the earner of the house , the balanced element of the weighing scale that pendulums about , in the space of time and need , to follow or be followed ..

Be in the learning first before the teaching can occur ..
