Here's a fun fact about percentages. When there's a % decrease, you need a larger % increase to recover. E.g. _100 to 75 is a 25% decrease. _75 to 100 is a 33% increase.

At 6GHz, the speed of light means signals can't travel further than 5cm/2" between each cycle (& electrons travel slower than light) That's kinda insane if you think about it. You're hitting a limit where speed is gonna be limited by the size of your chip.
