Individual Donors

Why Donate?

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, our work is made possible by the support of donors like you. Please give generously to allow our programs to expand to meet the rising need brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Moms need our support now, more than ever.

Donate to our Suicide Prevention Fund

100% of these gifts go to our maternal suicide prevention programs, strategic partnerships, and policy work. (Specify "Suicide Prevention Fund" in the comments at the time of your donation). Learn more here.

Donate to our Advocacy Fund

Our state legislative advocacy work is not covered by grants and can only be made possible by donors like you. 100% of these gifts go to creating model legislation, developing relationships with non-profits positioned to lead state maternal mental health (MMH) policy work with our support, and tracking state MMH policy. Honor a Loved One

Make a Gift In Someone’s Honor

Do you wish to honor a mother, a healthcare professional, or a friend through your gift to 2020 Mom? Add their name when you make a donation and we’ll send them an email to share that a gift was made in their honor.

Make a Memorial Donation

Honor the life of your loved one with a one-time or monthly gift, and fuel the change. If you wish, your donation will be made known along with a tribute to your loved one on 2020 Mom’s website and/or at a 2020 Mom event. Please email info@2020mom.org after making your donation.

Set Up a Fund in Your Loved One’s Name

Named gifts above $7,500 in a loved one’s honor make a significant difference through policy change. Please contact Kelly@2020Mom.org to make arrangements.

Make a Planned Gift

“Putting What We Know Now Into Action” 2020 Mom has made critical advances on our goals to save lives, remove stigma, and increase access to quality care for all Moms, but we know we must be advocates for all Moms for the long haul. We know that healthy moms are foundational for healthy children, healthy families, and healthy communities. Help us propel our work to safeguard the mental health of moms by considering a planned gift, like naming 2020 Mom in your will or a retirement plan gift.

Give Through a Donor-Advised Fund

A Donor-Advised Fund is a way to give that makes it easy for you to support a cause you care about. It’s a convenient, flexible, and cost-effective way to manage your charitable giving.

Contributions into your Donor-Advised Fund are tax-deductible. You can recommend how much (and how often) you want to distribute money from that fund to 2020 Mom or other charities.

Your support will go to work right away to help move the needle in maternal mental health. Learn more.
