Priya creates and reviews content for the site. She works with the editor to ensure expectant and new parents get the most comprehensive and easy-to-understand information possible for their stage of parenthood.

In her free time, she volunteers for programs that focus on enhancing early childhood learning through art and craft.

Priya lives with her husband and two children in Gurugram, Haryana.

Fun fact: Priya is a proud BabyCenter mum and first signed up for BabyCenter in 2001 when she was expecting her first child. She joined BabyCenter India in 2006.

Experience

Priya started her career as a product development merchandiser with an apparel manufacturing company catering to global retail chains for ethically sourced children's clothing.

She moved to pursue her love for writing, and before joining BabyCenter freelanced for projects in content writing, e-learning, translation and market research. She has experience in offline, online, audio and mHealth content.

Education

Priya has a B.Sc (Hons) degree in life sciences and a post-graduate diploma in advertising. She's also done sub-editing and design from the London School of Journalism and is a certified early childhood educator.
