We've seen all these flawed arguments before. It's almost like we're talking to the Plastic Grass industry themselves...

Have the council done their homework on how people that come into regular contact with these pitches are at higher risk of cancer?

The existing grass pitch is rendered unplayable for much of the winter due to drainage issues. news.stv.tv/west-central/c

But don't worry as will continue to allow plastic grass to expand and expand accross our gardens

Housing developments aren't really doing it anyway. It's home owners that need restricting!

Good news for ⁦@Shitlawns⁩ in the Sunday Times today as Michael Gove is to outlaw plazzy grass on all new developments!!!

Lawns can’t be used heavily every day of the year, footfall and winter wet damages them. An unrealistic expectation has been marketed to us by the “wonder product” plastic grass, at the usual significant cost to climate and nature. Let’s reclaim respect and care for living lawns.

A dripping tap of habitat loss and unemployed gardeners, every single day.

@Shitlawns this is a huge area now covered in plastic. One sad looking tree.

Someone offering their valuable time and expertise for free as an attempt to persuade you not to cover your garden in plastic really should ring alarm bells in your head. Thank you for fighting the fight Alan! 👏👏👏

I am so concerned about the use of plastic grass that if anyone on here is considering using it I will give you alternative advice ( free )as to how to landscape without it. If I can stop one square meter being layed it's worth the effort.

No no no, it puts the green in YOUR pocket, not your customers. We'll see how much time is saved when they have to brush, spray and deodorise their tacky plastic hell hole.

Put down the rake and put the green where it belongs -- in your pocket! Save time and money by switching to artificial grass. Give us a call at (832) 772-4034 to get started.

Securing future life on earth requires us to give back to the natural world as much as we take from it. A garden is an easy space to give back in what ever way you can. We all have to find a way of giving back, even if others (👇) haven't realised it yet

Society is happy to phase out plastic straws/bags as it's the right thing to do for a healthier future. Yet plastic lawn demand grows yr on yr like a virus unchecked equivalent to countless milions of straws ...But we'll 'let the market decide' on that WTF!!

A green roof only in name!
Quote Tweet
The roof garden was something to behold and compensated for the felling of trees on the site a few years ago. It would have been better to see it in daylight I guess. The perfectly manicured square of green was plastic so saves on maintenance and the urban greening factor.

We're taxed for driving polluting vehicles, drinking and smoking because it can be harmful and costly to humanity as a collective. But this, you can get away with scot free
