Our recent MRP giving Labour a 314 seat majority gave vote shares in Stretford and Urmston very close to the by-election result. By-election: LAB 69.6 CON 15.9 GRE 4.3 LD 3.6 REF 3.5 MRP LAB 69.8 CON 17.2 GRE 3.7 LD 5 REF 3.9

Labour's lead in VI polls has been exacerbated by higher-than-usual proportions of 2019 Conservatives being undecided. In this poll, just 10% of those who voted Conservative in 2019 are undecided, compared to 15% last week.

Research conducted by Savanta in conjunction with BBC 100 Women asks 1,000 women in 15 countries how life has changed for them and for women in their country in the last 10 years.

While four in five women say if they were a victim of a gender-based crime they would report it, the figure who would be confident that the police would take action against the offender drops to two thirds #BBC100Women

Half of women surveyed say it is generally easier to access medically safe abortions in their country now than 10 years ago, however this drops to three in ten in Brazil (33%), Indonesia (31%) and the USA (28%) #BBC100Women

Seven in ten women surveyed say it is generally easier for women in their country to access the contraception they want to use now compared to in 2012, however this figure drops to around half in the USA (50%) and Pakistan (46%) #BBC100Women

The majority of women surveyed told us that they now feel safer expressing their honest opinions online than they did 10 years ago - however, women in the USA, Russia and UK are evenly split on whether they feel more or less safe #BBC100Women

Apart from the UK (47%) and USA (44%), at least three in five women in all the countries surveyed say social media has had a positive impact on their life in the last 10 years #BBC100Women

Three in five women surveyed told us that responsibilities in the home are now spilt more equally between men and women in their country, ranging from 38% of women in Ukraine to 81% in China who said this #BBC100Women
