We will support families during the cost of living crisis by investing:
🔵 £1 billion in high quality early learning and childcare provision
🔵 £50 million to the Whole Family Wellbeing programme for preventative co-ordinated family support

We will strengthen sustainable public services by providing:
🔵£13.7 billion to the NHS
🔵£2 billion to establish and improve primary healthcare services
🔵£1.7 billion for social care

We want to ensure no child in Scotland goes hungry by providing:
🔵 £80 million capital funding to support the expansion of free school meals
🔵 A further £22 million invested in holiday food provision

We want to support councils and services by investing:
🔵 An additional £550 million to Local Government
🔵 An additional £165 million to the justice system to address the Covid backlog

We are boosting Scotland’s transition to net zero by:
🔵 Providing more than £366 million to decarbonise heat in buildings
🔵 This is part of £1.8 billion committed over this Parliament to improve energy efficiency and decarbonise a million Scottish homes by 2030

An extra 1p will be added to the higher and top income tax rates.
The #ScotBudget asks all those earning more than £43, 662 to pay an extra penny to deliver record investment in the NHS - an investment that will benefit us all.
We are working to eradicate child poverty by:
🔵 Continuing to deliver the unique Scottish Child Payment, which has already been increased to £25 per week
🔵 Investing £428 million to uprate all other devolved benefits in April 2023 in line with inflation
