We're gonna get wet (1"+ liquid equivalent) across Minnesota Monday and Tuesday. Still high uncertainty on precipitation type around greater Twin Cities area. Heavy snow ❄️ looks likely north and west of MSP. Stay tuned... #mnwx

There is growing potential for a highly impactful winter storm system across #mnwx & #wiwx on Monday-Tuesday. Snow, freezing rain and rain will all be part of this system. Travel will likely be impacted. Keep up to date with the latest on this system at weather.gov/mpx

@CathyWurzer loved the final TPT Almanac of the year! The retrospective was great fun. We especially loved that NO political bullsh*t made the show. The only downside for us was there was no segment to refill the wine glasses. We couldn’t leave at any point! Job well done…

Rain, snow and some freezing precipitation moves through Thursday. It will still be mild with highs in the 30s southeast to around 20 in the northwest. It’ll be colder Thursday night with lows in the teens and even subzero in northwest Minnesota. #mnwx

This was one of those stories where you tug at a string and it just keeps growing and growing. Max Morath was a key figure paving the way for public TV as we know it, as well as an important bridge between the original ragtime era and the ragtime revival.

This is Interstate 90 near Magnolia. We aren't sure what else it will take to convince you not to drive in these conditions. The roads are terrible, including in the metro area where they are covered in black ice. Stay home. For your safety. For ours.

Many highways in southern MN remain closed because of blowing snow and poor visibility. Conditions are expected to worsen as the wind picks up today. Roads are slippery. First responders are busy. If you don’t have to travel – stay off the roads. If you do, slow down!

Am laughing because last night before turning off my phone, the last tweet I saw was this one of yours. I said to my spouse, "When Cathy 'Minnesota weather doesn't phase me' Wurzer is telling you 'good luck,' you know it's bad outside."
Quote Tweet
Roads aren't great. They are slippery and the cold isn't activating the salt/brine very well. Lots of spin-outs plus dead cars on roadsides. Conditions will worsen tonight and tomorrow as the winds crank up, scooping up that new snow, creating whiteouts. Good luck. #mnwx
