Mind blown by Cloudflare yet again... finally playing with WebSockets to Workers for my upcoming auth concept. Literally a WebSocket connection from my client (SvelteKit) to a *serverless* function, sending and receiving messages like it's NBD. I feel like this is cheating.

Looking forward to it. Hope to see many of you there!

D1 on is magical. They made adding a database to servless effortless (one of server less real pain points) but they also solved all the scafolding that goes with it migrations, deployment, local development etc. They also listen to the community and fix issues fast.

I loved Cloudflare Workers since it's inception but now I love it even more Yesterday I built a simple API for one of my upcoming sites (more details soon) just using Cloudflare Worker Then linked a custom domain to it. It was rad. Worker is so reasonably priced & scalable 😍🔥

Earth’s best Zero Trust solution is also entirely free for teams of up to 50 users. (And agreed, Tunnel can be delightful, but we aren’t satisfied yet - two new features arriving in the next week.)

@Cloudflare Zero Trust is actual magic. Still can’t believe how easy it was to publish and protect an internally hosted Guacamole instance with cloudflared, and as if that weren’t enough, I’ve just found out you can use it to tunnel and secure plain native SSH and RDP. MA-GIC!

September to December has always been busy for me at work, and this year is no exception. A lot of travel and big projects getting shipped. Happy to be watching the Maple Leafs vs Canadians hockey game at home tonight to decompress 🏒

We will blog about at some point but yes workers are getting faster and we are driving down cold starts. Stay tuned.

Same. A few months ago, we re-architected a bunch to move to another NewCloud provider for cost savings, only to find since then our Workers (Unbound) ran 2x faster and were hence 2x cheaper! And no, we hadn't deployed a single line of code to speed it up. twitter.com/adam_janis/sta…

Not only is our integrated solution more effective, it’s easier to manage + has a better cost of ownership. In today’s economic environment, every dollar saved matters. If you’re interested in learning how we can help your company, my DMs are open or visit Cloudflare.com

Mindbody replaced 7 solutions including CDN, WAF, and bot mitigation with Cloudflare's integrated platform and dropped security blocks by ~95%.

Agree--another classic #CyberMonth meme, Rob! Though largely a nuisance, Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attacks can indeed be concerning for victim orgs & for Americans seeking to access info. To that end, is working w/our partners on a few related lines of effort:

Have you prepared for a DDOS attack? Consider the impact of outages and keep critical sites up using a deliberate mitigation plan.
