Rebecca is a mental health professional trained in psychotherapy and licensed to diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples, and family systems. She works to broaden the traditional emphasis on the individual to include the nature and role of individuals within primary relationships, such as marriage and the family. Rebecca offers a holistic perspective on the overall, long-term well-being of individuals and their families.

Rebecca earned her graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Minnesota, a CACREP (Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs) accredited program. Her master’s thesis project evaluated the role of empathy within the change process. Rebecca has experience working with a range of mental and emotional disorders within community mental health and forensic settings. Typical modalities used throughout treatment include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based Approach, Family Systems, Psychoeducation, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Rebecca offers a safe, warm, and empathic approach to the unique difficulties each individual faces.

In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
