Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) at PrairieCare

The benefits of intensive care with the flexibility of outpatient hours.

PrairieCare offers Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) for children, adolescents, and adults. IOP is an ideal level of care for individuals struggling with symptoms of mental illness that are interfering with their daily living and are not manageable in weekly therapy or medication management. Treatment is supported by a multidisciplinary team including Psychiatrists, Therapists, Social Workers, and Advanced Nurse Practitioners (APRNs).

Access to care begins with an assessment to identify the treatment approach that could be most beneficial in treatment. PrairieCare Medical Group IOP offers multiple tracks of therapeutic programming including the treatment modalities of: Adapted Dialectical Behavior Therapy (A-DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Art Therapy integrating the needs of those living with mental illness.

Testimonials

I cannot express my gratitude enough for this program or my team. I was absolutely hopeless and broken. They changed that in me and changed my family unit. They are so good at their jobs. They have changed my life. “Job” or not, they saw me before I even saw myself. That can’t be taught. That is THEM, who they are.
