About Us
The mission of Postpartum Support International, Nebraska Chapter (PSI-NE) is to increase awareness, education, prevention, and treatment of perinatal mental health issues affecting individuals, their families, and support systems in all areas of Nebraska.
PSI-NE is an all-volunteer organization and a State Chapter of Postpartum Support International, a 501(c)(3) organization. The Tax ID number of Postpartum Support International and PSI-NE is 77-0196208.
Meet our Board of Directors
Vice Chair
Jamie Heng, M.S., LIMHP, CDGC, PLADC
Jamie Heng is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and is certified in Perinatal Mental Health. She owns a private practice, New Outlook Counseling, where she provides individual and couples counseling to those struggling with a variety of concerns, including perinatal mental health, OCD, depression, anxiety, and addictive behaviors.
Secretary
Leigh Cook, APRN-NP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, PMH-C
Leigh Cook is a board-certified family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She is also certified in Perinatal Mental Health. She has been a provider in the Reproductive Psychiatry Department at Nebraska Medicine for the past seven years and has been a nurse practitioner for nine years.
Additionally, she has been involved with a HRSA grant providing integrated mental health care and primary care in rural Nebraska and assists with education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing.

Emily L. Goodman LIMHP, LADC, PMH-C
Emily is a mother of three, wife, and therapist in Lincoln, NE. She has been a PSI coordinator for NE since 2021. Emily specializes in Anxiety, ADHD, and perinatal disorders in women. She has been in private practice for 7 years.
Emily enjoys being with her family, gardening, and supporting women to feel supported, strong, empowered, beautiful, focused and affiliated.
Treasurer
Dezi McEvoy
Dezi McEvoy is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and specializes in Perinatal Mental Health, couples counseling and complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). She currently practices at Monarch Counseling helping individuals and couple navigate various concerns such as perinatal mental health, anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns and other life adjustments.
Liaison
Jennifer Rokeby-Mayeux LCSW
Jennifer is a licensed clinical social worker and is certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C). She has worked with birthing people for over 25 years, she is a retired doula and is a DONA International Past President. Jennifer owns Meadowlark Counseling in Lincoln, NE, where she provides behavioral health therapy to individuals, including people in the perinatal period. When she is not working Jennifer enjoys fostering small animals for the Capital Humane Society, baking and spending time at home with her family.
