Volunteer Positions.
Story Time at Napa Farmers Market.
We partner with the Napa Farmers Market and the Education Station to provide Story Time at the Farmers Market. Our sign-up page is now live for this popular program. Story Time takes place every Saturday morning year round and on Tuesday mornings from April through Septembre at the Napa Farmer’s Market. Readers bring their own books to read to children (age appropriate books for 0-10 years old). Sharing and reading books with children prepares them for school and establishes a foundation for lifelong learning. Volunteers commit to at least one 30 minute story time session.
Current opportunities:
Location: Napa Farmers Market, 195 Gasser Drive, Napa
Days: Saturdays
Times: 10:30 am to 11:00 am
Dates: through March (April to September sign-up coming soon!)
Early Learning Volunteer
We invite community members to join us for our Community Connections to Early Learning. Volunteers will either help with set-up of activities or will share one of their own talents such as music, art, movement, drama and much more. Community Connections take place September through May and are usually held during the day, however, starting this Fall we will be introducing evening and weekend sessions. The quarterly events include No Sweet Trick or Treat, Community Literacy Day, and A Day in the Park. We invite volunteers to help us with organization, planning, set-up and running an art station or a reading corner for children.
