San Mateo Comprehensive Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan

C/CAG developed the Countywide Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan (CBPP) update, which will set forth detailed goals and objectives to provide an interconnected system of safe, convenient and universally accessible bicycle and pedestrian facilities, for both transportation and recreation. The update builds upon the 2011 Comprehensive Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan to identify opportunities and resources to address the planning, design, funding, and implementation of bicycle and pedestrian projects of countywide significance. San Mateo Countywide Sustainable Streets Master Plan

To advance green stormwater infrastructure, build climate change resiliency and better integrate sustainable stormwater management with active transportation projects, C/CAG developed the San Mateo Countywide Sustainable Streets Master Plan. Click the image link to learn more.

San Mateo County Community Based Transportation Plan (CBTP) Updates

C/CAG, working with a number of community partners, is in the process of updating Community Based Transportation Plans (CBTPs) for Daly City and Southeast San Mateo County. The goal of these plans is to identify and improve transportation gaps that impact disadvantaged communities in particular. Input from community members in these areas is vital to this endeavor, so we would be grateful for your participation via the surveys, which can be accessed via the image link.

C/CAG of San Mateo County

C/CAG works on issues that affect the quality of life in general; transportation, air quality, stormwater runoff, airport/land use compatibility planning, hazardous waste, climate planning, energy and water resource strategies, and solid waste and recycling. C/CAG operates as a Joint Powers Authority and has membership that includes each of the 20 cities and the County in San Mateo County.

To comply with the County of San Mateo and the State of California’s Shelter in Place order in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the C/CAG office is closed to the public and staff will be working remotely during this time. The best way to contact C/CAG staff is via e-mail.
