NVUSD Hiring Process for Coaches
|
Employers are not required by law to complete VOEs from mortgage lenders. NVUSD requires written consent from employees before providing information to mortgage lenders.
Human Resources will only verbally verify if the employee is still active to mortgage lenders upon request. To submit a verification request, please contact hr@nvusd.org or 707-253-3571.
For extensive Verifications of Employment please contact Business Services at payroll@nvusd.org. A minimum of 72 hours will be required to process income verification requests.
NVUSD welcomes and appreciates volunteers, as they enrich the educational experience for students. To apply as a volunteer for any NVUSD school, please follow the instructions below. Volunteers are not authorized at a school site until all mandatory district requirements are fulfilled, and the volunteer has been notified of clearance by Human Resources.

Note: Athletic volunteers who supervise or direct an athletic program shall meet the qualification criteria specified in 5 CCR 5593 (required for temporary athletic team coaches employed by the district). Any athletic volunteer who does not meet these criteria shall serve only under the supervision of a fully qualified coach and shall not be given charge of an athletic program. |
Instructions:
- Complete the Volunteer Interest Form online.
- After submitting the Volunteer Interest Form, the confirmation page will provide a link to the Volunteer Live Scan Form for you to print and fill out.
- Schedule your live scan and bring your completed Volunteer Live Scan Form.
- Human Resources will notify you when you are cleared to volunteer.
