Athletics Bill of Rights

NVUSD's mission is to transform lives by instilling 21st century skills and to inspire lifelong learning.

We believe it is imperative that we make learning relevant to the real world in order that our students can thrive in the work force, contribute to their communities and become respected members of society.

NVUSD Athletics strives to promote an inclusive athletic program that helps to build a positive school climate, and community  connectedness. Our student athletes will reflect the dedication and hard work that is required to compete, thriving on the athletic playing field, in the classroom and in our community as respected members of society.

The Napa Valley Unified School District  Athletics’ program strives to be an inclusive program that offers access and opportunity for its student athletes.  We believe an effective interscholastic athletic program is the product of responsible cooperation between its major components: high school parents, the student athlete, coaching staff, site and district administration, and the community.

NVUSD Athletics is dedicated to offering student-athletes with a rich extra-curricular program that encourages student growth and  leadership through team membership and the importance of being part of a team. NVUSD nurtures commitment, loyalty, teamwork, pride, leadership, and sportsmanship.
