    WordCamps are amongst the most open and inclusive tech events out there. Here's a roundup of what the WordPress community does to promote this. Proud for this and for still being open to suggestions to do even more.

    WCEU 2022 has been called out for lack of diversity on our Organising Team. As a volunteer, this was immensely hard, because we care deeply about diversity, equity and inclusion. Our next steps to ensure June in Porto is welcoming for all!

    This is an ad by a Greek supermarket chain for father's day. There seems to be a significant amount of assholes who commented on it as a) deliberately depicting a girl instead of a boy and b) promoting some sort of reduced manliness for father's.

    Somehow this tweet from 2016 emerged in my timeline. was doing a series of articles on local communities back then. So much has happened since, has expanded with meetups and WordCamps all over. Can't say I don't feel a little proud!
