Taking a page from one of our speaker workshops: I'm about to get my best friend to rehearse his talk with full tech ON and over zoom (even though we're in the same room) to prep for doing his first tech talk tonight. :)

Have you seen the Pixar movie Turning Red? (3/3)

I don’t think I’ve ever had that experience watching a Disney or Pixar movie before. With the trend moving more and more towards diversity in media, I get so excited to see what perspectives get shown, what stories get told, and who gets to feel represented and included. (2/3)

Wow, “Turning Red.” What a movie. I LOVE it. The story, cast, and team made it an animated movie unlike any I’ve seen before — one that I could actually deeply relate to. (1/3)

Unusual stomach aches this week. Been working partial days because of it. Doctor: If you don't stop and properly rest, this could get bad. So fyi, I won't be replying to any work things for at least a few days. Thanks for your understanding. I hope you are safe and well!

TIL how to launch a post-meeting survey automagically at the end of a Zoom call. This will make a big difference for our workshops!

Happy about the volunteer & outreach meeting today. It must have gone well, for people asked if they could share the video and form (sign up for roles and share ideas) far and wide. I'm thinking about it. Maybe just the slides and sign-up form... 🤔 🤔 🤔
