I hope folks realize that if the CDC is (finally) explicitly recommending wearing masks in areas of high transmission (…”or if you choose” - we’ll deal with that another time) it means they are especially worried about this XBB1.5 variant and you should be too.

It’s really incomprehensible that our leading public health agencies have basically decided to shrug & say “you do you.” But given that our entire government is doing the same thing w the #ClimateEmergency perhaps it’s just consistent. A failing state can’t care for its people

I’m surprised they didn’t mention how footage of him in prisoner clothes is prejudicial. The footage could also be interpreted as him accepting that he couldn’t fight the system, nor prove his innocence.
