説明
Classic Editor (クラシックエディター) は、WordPress チームがメンテナンスしている公式プラグインです。以前の WordPress エディターおよび投稿編集画面を復元します。これにより、その画面を拡張したり、旧式のメタボックスを追加したり、以前のエディターに依存したプラグインを使用したりといったことが可能になります。
Classic Editor は公式な WordPress プラグインであり、少なくとも2022年まで、または必要なくなるまでの間、完全にサポート・保守されます。
このプラグインは主に以下の機能を追加します。
- 管理者は、すべてのユーザーに対してデフォルトのエディターを選択できます。
- 管理者は、ユーザーにデフォルトのエディターの変更を許可できます。
- 許可されている場合、ユーザーは各投稿に使用するエディターを選択できます。
- 各投稿は、誰が最後に編集したかに関係なく、最後に使用されたエディタで開きます。これは、コンテンツ編集の際の一貫したエクスペリエンスを維持するために重要です。
さらに、Classic Editor プラグインにはフィルターが複数含まれます。他のプラグインはこれを使って設定やエディターの自動選択 (投稿ごとまたは投稿タイプごと) を制御できます。
このプラグインはデフォルトで、新しいブロックエディター ( “Gutenberg”) で利用可能なすべての機能を非表示にします。

2つのオプションがあります。
- このプラグインをネットワークで有効化すると、旧エディターがデフォルトとして設定され、サイト管理者やユーザーはエディターを変更できなくなります。

This is the first plugin I install on any new website. I wish this was an option built into WordPress, as I feel like it's essential to be able to manage content using a WYSIWYG editor.

So relieved to find this. The horrible block editor is a pain to use and does not resemble word processing. The classic editor is the ONLY editor as far as I'm concerned.

Gutenberg is certainly a great plugin.
However, not everyone wants to spend a long time creating articles that look like magazines.
We are not immortal and our time is finite.
For those who want to create articles in a fraction of the time, the best plugin is this one.
